New Report released showing Gender Gap is worst in Middle East

On October 24th, the “Report on the Global Gender Gap in 2013” was released by the World Economic Forum. In the report, the Forum covered political, economic, educational, and health policies over 93% of the world’s population to come up with the biggest disparities and glaring issues. After collecting and studying the data, the results show that the Middle East and North Africa are least improved in closing the gender gap, especially economically. By political AND economic terms, the Arab Middle East countries have the lowest performance.

This unfortunately doesn’t come of much as a surprise, but it should still not be ignored. This is 2013, not the Middle Ages, and for their to still be such gender disparity around the world is despicable!
